Executive Directors

Peter Roberts - FRICS, Managing Director Peter Roberts - Managing Director, Aged 63

Peter has been working in the Leisure Industry since 1980 and has been involved in several highly successful businesses in the field of resorts, hotels, pubs and health clubs. He has also been on the board of several public financial institutions that invest in Leisure Businesses.

Brian Scurrah, Development and Operations Director Brian Scurrah – Development/Operations Director, Aged 42

Brian has been working in the Hotel and Leisure industry for the last 20 years and was co founder of Golden Tulip Hotel Group in the UK, which was sold to Whitbread PLC in 2007.

Angela Crawshaw, Property Director Angela Crawshaw – Property Director, Aged 45

Angela Crawshaw started her working career in the catering industry and joined Peter and Brian 8 years ago as part of the Golden Tulip Hotel Group.

James Jack, Finance Director Director James Jack – Finance Director, Aged 38

James qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young in London and Hong Kong. He then went on to be a founding Director of Armadillo Self Storage, a highly successful business which was sold to HSBC in 2007.

Iain Watson, Operations Manager Iain Watson – Operations Manager, Aged 38

Iain has worked in the health club industry throughout his career, including 10 successful years with JJB Fitness where he held numerous Operations positions including the National Brands Standards Manager responsible for 53 clubs.

Alaine McNamee, Sales & Marketing Manager Alaine McNamee – Sales & Marketing Manager, Aged 26

Alaine has enjoyed success in a number of Sales & Marketing leadership roles within the Leisure industry. These have included positions at Esporta and West Ham United F.C.

Non-Executive Directors

Sir Nicholas Pearson – Chairman, Aged 65 Sir Nicholas is a former main Board Director of Intercontinental Hotel Group. He also served on the Board of Virgin Atlantic.

Julian Richmond-Watson, Aged 61 Julian has run his own business in the property and leisure industry for many years and more recently has been heavily involved in the horse racing industry where he was elected to become senior steward of the Jockey Club in 2003.

John Murray, Aged 64 John Murray is Executive Chairman and one of the founders of Ecofin Limited, an investment management firm based in London with offices in New York, Geneva and Hong Kong.

Tom Matthews, Aged 33 (representative of Lesing Pure Ltd) Tom is a founding partner of Magenta Partners an investment management firm based in London. He brings over 8 years of investment experience spanning development capital through to mid market buy-outs and across a number of sectors.
