Hotelier Starts Budget Gym

Hotelier Peter Roberts has launched low-cost gym Pure Gym. Roberts, who sold the Golden Tulip UK hotel group to Whitbread for £45m in 2007, has already agreed 15 year leases on site at 3 Hardman Square, Manchester, and at Bentley Bridge Retail Park in Wolverhampton. He plans to have 15-20 gyms by 2014.
