Pure Gym: The operator of five no-frills gyms run by Peter Roberts, the former UK managing director of Golden Tulip Hotels, has unveiled plans to become a national chain after securing funding of £10 million from Magenta Partners, the private equity firm backed by Tom Singh, the New Look founder.
